John Baglier Memorial Scholarship In 1997 the employees of Baglier Buick GMC Mazda began raising funds for a scholarship in memory of John Baglier. This scholarship benefits a Butler Senior High graduate and goes toward their further education. The employee-run annual “Car Cruise” supports this scholarship. Butler County Food Drive The Baglier Buick GMC Mazda family conducts an annual food drive, which benefits Butler County food banks. Over the past 10 years, they have collected and donated more than 30,000 pounds of food, which is presented during the Butler Thanksgiving Day parade.

John Baglier Memorial Fishing Tournament In 1989 Dennis Baglier and the Basscasters Fishing Club started an adult-junior fishing tournament at Moraine State Park and called it “Get Hooked on Fishing-Not Drugs”. It was a day for parent and child to spend together and to raise money for drug prevention. It has continued every year as an annual event, renamed in 1996, the John Baglier Memorial Fishing Tournament benefiting Camp Cadet. www.butlerbasscasters.com
